Hopewell Rocks

This morning we went to see Hopewell Rocks in the Bay of Fundy before leaving for today's destination.  It was perfect timing as it was low tide.   I didn't find anything had changed since last ten years.  It's as beautiful as ever!  We did get to walk on the ocean floor which is pretty cool!


We then left and went on our merry way.  We arrived in Bridgewater at 3pm, booked our room and walked over to Reno's house (Remi's brother).  They have a beautiful home!  We spent a few hours, had dinner and came back to our room for the night.

Again, pretty uneventful.  We drive to Cape Breton tomorrow to catch the ferry.

Newfoundland Here We Come!

We got up this morning and went out for a walk - sitting in a car all day argh!   We managed to leave at 7:00 am.

We've not decided what our first destination will be.  We shall see when we want to stop.

10:00 pm - This was a long day!  We are now in Moncton!  We were going to stop in Edmunston but decided to go a little further - Fredericton but when we got there we thought we might as well keep going to Moncton and bring us that much closer to where we're heading tomorrow.

On our way I saw a big black bear, a few deer and a hare.  I would've loved to have seen a moose even though I've seen hundreds before - they always amaze me!  Oh well - maybe once we get to NFDL!

Depending on the tides, we will go to Hopewell Rocks before heading over to Reno's house in Bridgewater.

not a great blogger!

Oh my!  I'm not a great blogger!  I never finished writing about my trip to Yellowstone!   After that, in March I went to Harlingen  Texas and I never blogged about that either!

In a nutshell - my trip to Harlingen was pretty uneventful - went bird watching, visited with my parents, went to Mexico for one day and that's about it.

On to my next trip!
